Gruesomely Slaying Clones...

A horrifically gruesome dream, perhaps inspired by watching "Limitless" before bed.

I was in my childhood home and it became apparent to me that there were clones who meant to do us harm. There were four of them, all the same and possibly cloned from a nemesis I'd slain earlier in the dream.
I knew they were on the way and I knew I needed to use any means necessary to kill them, since they weren't really human and they would stop at nothing to kill me if I didn't do it first. Dan was there, but for some reason he couldn't help. He was maybe working on holding off another type of evil that was threatening.
As the moment approached, I tried readying myself for the onslaught. They would come one by one, humble at first, trying to fool me of their intent. I would use this chance to mark them with ink so I remembered what I needed to do. I also took note of where my potential weapons lay, so I knew how to take care of each.
The first came at me when I was preparing in the living room. He was handsome and charismatic, but approached me fast and forcefully. I barely had time to grab a marker before he was on me. I started drawing on his face and soon realized this plan was practically useless. So I just started stabbing his eyes with it. It rendered him blind so he would be easier to control. As he backed off, tending to his wounds, I was able to pummel his head to the point of knocking him out. He wasn't dead so I'd have to take care of him later, but at least he was off my radar. Just in time, too, because I was soon pursued by the second clone. This one was in the dining room. I don't quite remember how I vanquished him but I know at that point I had had to step it up. I think maybe I smashed his face in with a large rock. The third I took down in the kitchen. By then I'd decided to grab a knife. I didn't have time to choose, just grabbed the first one I could. It was a serrated bread knife. I was able to use the element of surprise on this clone. He was slow moving and I came from behind and used the knife with all the pressure I could muster, to slash him across the belly. He was incapacitated, but still threatening. So I danced around him, making contact wherever I could, slashing his flesh. It was visceral. I could feel the texture of the serrated edge tearing through the skin, even scraping on the bone beneath. The harder I pushed, the deeper it dug, flaying open his body. By then, the fourth clone was on me and I didn't waste any time. I went straight for the jugular, laying open his throat. He was down instantly. That single swipe had nearly taken his head off.
I went back to find Dan, who was simultaneously Andrew. He was appalled by what I'd done and wanted us to leave immediately. But I knew it wasn't over yet. Just as suspected, the first two clones weren't totally dead yet and returned to kill me. I used the knife and in short order, added them to the pile of completely dead bodies out in the dining room.
I wasn't sure if there would be any more clones coming to get me so I was cautious and on edge. We also noticed that the cats had clones, as well as Keira's mice. I was going to have to kill those clones too. The cats had killed the mice, so I didn't need to do that, but then I had to kill the cat clones. But I couldn't figure out who was who. They looked identical and whoever was the clone seemed nonthreatening. So I just decided to let them live.
