Carter Tattoo and a Shady Alleyway...

In my dream I worked at a tattoo shop that was simultaneously Carter Volkswagon, where Justin used to work. He worked there, as well as many of the guys he used to work with there. It was a huge warehouse and full of scrap metal and dust. It looked nothing like a tattoo shop. In fact, I saw nothing to indicate that it was a tattoo shop, other than the fact that we were all talking about tattoos and planning the work that we would be doing.
I spent a little time away from the shop, recruiting clients at a nearby coffee shop. By the time I returned to the shop, I had a stack of papers, each one representing a potential client. Tomorrow was going to be a big day. It was a holiday, similar to Halloween, and we were planning on doing around 12-15 tattoos each. Part of my job included making the schedule and I spent a fair amount of time doing paperwork - logging the information regarding future clients and getting it up on the calendar, which was a filthy white-board, squared off with days of the week.
At one point, there was a part of my job which involved me being in an open shower, totally naked. It was interesting because though I was the only woman in the shop and fully exposed to the room, no one was disrespectful or unnecessarily ogling me. Although I did notice that Justin suddenly felt that he had a lot to talk with me about. I felt sexier than ever, that I could be so exposed - yet completely respected. I sensed the appreciation that I was receiving and also sensed that they were trying really hard to suppress being turned on.
Near the end of the dream, I realized that I had more work than I knew what to do with, including a hand tattoo for one of Justin's coworkers. We were discussing it as we were closing down the shop. He wanted a busted black and white checkered floor with something coming out of the middle of it, though that detail escapes me now. I felt overwhelmed because I had something like 12 tattoos to do the next day, including this one and only one of them was drawn up. I told myself that I'd just have to get up really early and do the drawings, as well as come in early to finish the scheduling work that I didn't get done.
I did like the feeling of being immeasurably busy, to the point of having too much work to handle in one day. I felt overwhelmed, but also like it wouldn't be hard to stay on track. Especially with so many other artists around. It was a very lively and creatively rich atmosphere.
At the end of the day, we had to close up the shop and leave. This involved closing these huge metal doors and locking them closed. Michael St. Pierre was there, helping me. I was also packing my bag of things, including some money. I left a dollar out on the table for bus fare and Mike put his bag down on it when he came to help me. We joked about stupid ways to steal money from people and then I asked him if I could get a ride home.

Later, I had another dream wherein I found myself in an alley, observing a strange interaction with some shady folks. There were 5 people in a circle, giving money to a guy in a long leather jacket who was handing out these fat little pillow pouches of white powder. It was ecstasy and one of the people in the circle was a girl who was fiending so bad, she was crying. She wanted to feel better, so they figured they could stuff her full of drugs to do the job. They all took two of the pillows and then there was a bunch of the powder that spilled in the container that they had been in. I was present, but apparently invisible because no one paid me any mind, even as I reached into the container and scooped out some of the spilled powder.
I barely tasted it, but it took effect almost immediately. I was warm and fuzzy and filled with an overwhelming sense of sparkly love and appreciation for all things beautiful. The group exited the alleyway and walked down a busy street, bustling with shoppers and tourists. I joined them, no longer anonymous. In fact, I think I may have been the girl who had previously been crying.
As we walked down the street, I saw a woman coming out of a store. She was so beautiful and I really wanted to approach her and fall in love with her. I swooped up to her and though I didn't say anything, I radiated the feelings that I had for her beauty. For an instant, I thought that I could maybe ask her to come home with me, but then the house around me began bustling with morning noises and I was promptly ejected from the dream.
