Working in an Art Store, Homeless in San Francisco...

I worked in an art store in San Francisco. I think I was homeless and new to the city, so they took me in based on my previous experience at art stores.
I mostly wandered around checking things out, since I needed to familiarize myself with the products that they carried. The store was expansive and the more I wandered, the more weird things I found. They had clothing and backpacks as well, so I found myself trying on a few things, including a shoulder bag that I seem to remember was stuffed with money so I decided not to tell anyone and just get it.
My first shift ended rather painlessly. After helping straighten up, I left and went to wander the city since I had nowhere to go. I happened upon a friend who was setting up a massive circus performance rig. he asked for my help and I jumped right on in. It was a 4 story "step ladder" that was kind of like a plastic and metal jungle gym - but huge! It was really light weight too, so between the two of us, it was completely manageable. He had be climb to the top which was the 4th story - a trampoline twice as big as normal circus training trampolines. It had a soft, fluffy cover on it, like a pillow top mattress. I jumped on it and it made the whole rig move. My friend instructed me to jump it over to a more flat piece of ground so I did. It was a little scary, being on this giant moving platform, 40 feet off the ground, but I had full control so it was cool.
Then the sun was rising and I had to go so I could get back to work.
I arrived to start a new day. This time, I was working in a different department of the store. I realized this art store was much more than art! I was working in the lingerie department. The store also had other buildings in the neighborhood that were affiliated with them - like a building just for their canvas. I decided to wander a little to check out the other buildings but then I ended up wandering to the art store that I formerly worked at, Blick on Van Ness. But it was really different. They had expanded into the basement and it was a dungeon-y sort of warehouse. They had some really cool stuff that our store didn't have, so I made a few purchases. Then I felt like a jerk because I'd gone to another art store while I was on the clock and bought stuff. I realized I would have to smuggle it in to my work.
I was able to smuggle it in pretty easy and I planted myself in the department where the dresses and other cool clothing items were. There were lots of styles of cool slip dresses, which I already owned one of, so I knew they were cool. I went through and picked out a few more. There was a dressing room where other women were trying things on. One woman had left a purse that she wanted to buy, sitting out in front of the dressing room. I could see a really beautiful object inside. I decided that because she hadn't bought the purse yet, she didn't technically own the object, so I could claim it as mine without guilt.
Finally it was time to close again, so I did my share of straightening up and then I was back out on the street. I had a companion this time, though I don't remember who it was.
We were wandering in the mountains. It was cold and snowy. We happened upon a dome-like shelter that was vacant but inviting and warm. It was made of an adobe-like mud and was built with a trough around it wherein burned several fires. The radiant heat of the fires warmed the whole shelter which was small on the inside, but had 4 bench seats which doubled as beds, as needed. I was really grateful because I didn't have anywhere to sleep that night. Suddenly a man came in - I'm assuming it was his shelter. He was surprised to find us in there, but wasn't angry. Then we were all in a car, driving to an unknown destination. My companion had a lady friend in the front seat with him and I was in the back with the man whose shelter we had been in. He was Mexican and very handsome. I thought it might be nice to snuggle up with him. Someone handed me a bowl of herb, which I quickly realized had a thick layer of crumbled hash on top. I thought, well... I'm not driving!
