Returning to a Love for Dance...

I dreamed that I was taking a dance class. My mom was in the class too. I think that I didn't know what type of class it was until it was underway. I also didn't realize how long the class was. We were an hour into it and I thought it would be over soon, when it was revealed to me that the class was 7 hours, minus a 1 hour lunch break. I got nervous about this, but my mom reminded me that I've always loved dance and that this would be just what I've been waiting for for a long long time.
As the class was underway, more and more people came in. The class was huge - maybe 50 people. Most of them were girls, but there were a handful of guys. I was unclear what type of dance we were going to learn. We did exercises that suggested it was modern/ballet/ballroom.
The room was divided up by lots of shelves of books. It was as if we were dancing in a library. The shelves were our ballet barres, but they prevented us from being able to see around the room. I could only see a narrow corridor of the dancers in front of me. The teacher had us start out with some ballet warm ups. It's been 20+ years since I've done ballet, so I was both self-conscious and excited. Unfortunately, the shelves prevented me from being able to hear the teacher so while I was waiting for directions on what we would doing, suddenly the music started and everyone was doing a round of plies and arabesques. I was struggling to keep up, watching everyone else for cues.
When we turned to do the other side, I was the only one on the one side of the bookshelf. There were 5 or 6 people on the other side and their grip on the shelf/barre made the whole thing collapse on them. A bunch of people got crushed, and many fingers and hands as well. I felt bad, but had to remind myself that it was their fault because they were gripping the shelf too hard.
After the exercises, we cleared some space for floor dancing and another group of people showed up; a Nigerian family.
I was doing some free-form dancing in the middle of the floor, when one of the guys who had just come in, came up to me and took the lead. He was a wonderful dancer and in his arms, I was as well. We moved with grace and ease and I was taken by surprise, and loved the feeling of moving in tandem with someone. His touch was gentle but strong and he liked the feeling of my cashmere sweater.
After that, we took a lunch break and I wandered around Queen Anne Avenue, where the dance studio was. I was looking for a place to pick up a quick lunch. There were a bunch of yummy looking burger places and restaurants, but I didn't want that. I wanted something light so that I didn't go back to dancing, feeling like I'd eaten a whale. I looked for a smoothie shop or something, but couldn't find anything of the like.
Maybe I gave up on the idea of dancing, cause suddenly I was hanging out at Katie and Meg's house. I toured their old upstairs bedroom, which was now abandoned and dusty. We went down to the guest bedroom, that was where the kitchen used to be. Dan and Katie and I were sitting on the bed, hoping her dad didn't come in. I had a huge grinder set out, with tobacco in it and I was making cold-press spliff shots for us. I thought that I was going to roll a spliff, but I put the herb and the tobacco in the grinder (enough for 4 people) and then took the grind and put it in a contraption like a tiny little french press. I poured super-cooled water into it and pressed it, creating a frosty shot of THC infused water. I made on for Katie and one for Dan, paranoid that we'd get caught. I started making one for myself, but then I woke up.
