I am lying on a table. There is a cathedral of light beings, who are my friends, domed around me. There is a device in the shape of a box over my heart. They do a kind of surgery and remove the box. After lifting it off, prism light beams shoot a light out of my heart then a crystallized lotus popped out and hovered spinning over my chest. Next a golden pyramid popped out both ends of my chest and opened a golden channel that then flipped upward and became my throne. I was given a crown and a my “space tool” that is a chalice/ staff/ sabor like object. The thrown begins to travel upon light beams/ as if it were on a track that would move up and down if you were sitting upright on the throne in 3 D space. I am transported to a dark and desolate place crawling with suffering beings as soon as I can pick out one cry out in the sea of desperation they notice me and begin to crawl up my skirt, trying to devour me. Crying “Help me help me”. I find myself in a moment of pure fear. Then I take a deep breath point my sabor up to the heavens and begin spinning upwards with a sea of creatures clinging to my skirt. As I am spinning the clinging help me creatures churn and turn into blood that is flying off my skirt and collecting into a long moving river that flows off into the darkness. I stop and peer into the river of blood. The pain that I feel is great, the sorrow overwhelming. I begin stand up upon the river of blood, wearing a long cape that is soaking in it. With tears streaming down my face I stand and kick my leg up into the sky. I keep one foot on the river as the other foot is traveling through the universe and lands on the star of my origin. I pull it down to where both worlds collide and I am standing at the river but it has turned into a crystal path. And then I find myself in roller skates, skating down a prism pathway paved in light under the light of the stars beaming at me.
An ambivalent symbol since it corresponds to the creative power both
of nature and of time. On the one hand it signifies fertility and the progressive
irrigation of the soil; and on the other hand it stands for the irreversible passage of

Light, traditionally, is equated with the spirit (9). Ely Star asserts that
the superiority of the spirit is immediately recognizable by its luminous intensity. Light is the manifestation of morality, of the intellect and the seven virtues
(54). Its whiteness alludes to just such a synthesis of the All. Light of any given
colour possesses a symbolism corresponding to that colour, plus the significance
of emanation from the ‘Centre’, for light is also the creative force, cosmic energy irradiation (57). Symbolically, illumination comes from the East. Psychologically

Like all receptacles whose basic use is keeping or containing, the box is
a feminine symbol which can refer both to the unconscious (15) and to the
maternal body itself (31). We do not here refer to spherical objects, which are symbols of Oneness and of the spiritual principle. The myth of ‘Pandora’s box’
appears to allude to the significance of the unconscious, particularly in the special
sense of its unexpected, excessive, destructive potentialities. Diel relates this
symbol to ‘imaginative exaltation’ (15). In addition, we would like to point out
the analogy—the family resemblance—between Pandora’s box and the ‘third
casket’ which figures in so many legends. The first and second contain goods and
riches; the third discharges storms, devastation, death. This is clearly an example
of a symbol of human life (of the cycle of the year), which is divided into three
stages, consisting of two favourable thirds and one adverse. A superb elaboration
upon the Pandora theme is to be found in Dora and Erwin Panofsky’s Pandora’s
Box (London, 1956). Particularly interesting is the authors’ study of the literary
heritage of a myth, and the ways in which it may be adapted to serve the visual
arts.

In the vertical scheme of the human body, the focal points are three in
number: the brain, the heart and the sexual organs. But the central point is the
heart, and in consequence it comes to partake of the meanings of the other two.
The heart was the only part of the viscera left by the Egyptians in the mummy,
since it was regarded as the centre indispensable to the body in eternity; for all
centres are symbols of eternity, since time is the motion of the periphery of the
wheel of phenomena rotating around the Aristotelian ‘unmoved mover’. In traditional ways of thought, the heart was taken as the true seat of intelligence, the
brain being merely instrumental (25); hence, in ancient attempts to explain the
profound and continuing analogies between concepts, the moon was said to
correspond to the brain and the sun to the heart. All representations of the
‘Centre’ have been related in some way to the heart, either through correspondences or through substitution, as in the case of the goblet, the coffer and the
cavern. For the alchemists, the heart was the image of the sun within man, just as
gold was the image of the sun on earth (32). The importance of love in the mystic
doctrine of unity explains how it is that love-symbolism came to be closely linked
with heart-symbolism, for to love is only to experience a force which urges the
lover towards a given centre. In emblems, then, the heart signifies love as the
centre of illumination and happiness, and this is why it is surmounted by flames,
or a cross, or a fleur-de-lis, or a crown (4).
