Today was a day about highs and lows... (Long story to follow)
I got up today in a pretty good mood. I decided to go to Church when I walked in Cindy Novelo was singing the most beautiful song. The talk was on prayer and the meditation was fantastic. I left really feeling loved and loving.
I got home and made up my mind that today would be a good day to trim bushes....it started out pretty well but pretty soon I cut the extension cord with the trimmers....(third time) I go to the hardware store and find a repair kit. I came home and BOOM...got it fixed. Pretty happy with myself.
As I was making the repair I got some bad news...It really put me in a bad place. I stopped what I was doing, came inside and called a friend. I calmed down a bit and went and finished the bushes...Yea! I then came inside to work on my local marketing business after about an hour of that I decided to go for a walk in the woods.
When I am in a dark place walking in nature always makes me feel better. I love to be in the woods I went bare-footing cross country in the only old growth forest in the area. I spent about and hour walking and another hour meditating. I went out of the woods into a clearing and raised my arms to the air and just felt gratitude....
At that moment a fawn literally came running towards me stopped at my feet looked up into my eyes then smelled my knee. WOW...I have had lots of animal encounters but not like that. I found a favorite tree and leaned up against it for another 20 minutes. I was in a very good place.
On the way home, I was hopping on the local bypass and a Sheriff's car went zooming by me, I immediately started to pray as I often do when I hear a siren. Then another came by. I got to where the accident was and it appeared a bicyclist got hit by a car. The Sheriff was doing chest compression's, I have never seen this before and it was very disturbing to me.
I sent love, peace and prayers to the person, the sheriff and the family’s. I am sure I will hear about this on the news. It really puts things in perspective, there is bad...and there is really bad. I ask you to send a prayer to the person on the ground.
