1. I am munching on a flowering plant, a weed. Not as a dietary supplement: this has some medicinal properties, at least according to the pages of a small book I'm reading in the dream. Page after page of instructions about herbal medicine. Getting the dosage right is a delicate issue, apparently, and one doesn't want to get it wrong! I can't read the words per se, but I know what they are conveying from the sentence structure and layout on the pages. [Vaguely reminds me of my real life e-book on hallucinogens. However, this weed isn't psychedelic.] Also each page contains a real mask, aboriginal and more. I don't know how they are all 3 dimensional, but it's a dream...
2. Then I'm laying in something like a burial chamber, quite alive, whistling a merry little tune to myself. It's a cave with a flat, low, man-made ceiling. Can't stand up in it. One side about 15 feet away is open to the outside and bright sunlight is pouring in because it's reflecting off the limestone rocks outside. Mentally I'm hearing the word "cairn", although it really isn't one. More of a bunker...
3. This evolves into a scene with another guy, we're in an A/V recording studio. A film is playing. I sense the second guy nearby but I can't see him in the darkness. He's recording and synching up a sloppy punk rock song as the soundtrack to that particular segment of the film.
"This is where it all begins," is his song hook.
4. I roll onto my side and the scene shifts again. Now I'm looking at a fellow in a detective's beige overcoat, quirky round hornrim shades and a fedora, who's sitting on a plain wooden chair. A bit like Johnny Depp His own doppelganger is sitting on his right thigh, arm around him. Against his left side is a woman, half sitting, half kneeling.
She and the 'twin' start wrestling for control of a microphone, back and forth, across the seated man between them. The narrator of my dream says, "This is where the deception starts."
