1. I am hanging out with Tupac Shakur, well, mainly with his mother. Tupac is wandering around with the red bandana knotted around his forehead, just like he did when he was alive.
This scene evolves into me being on an interior balcony with my gf Theresa overlooking some kind of vocal rehearsal below. There's a tall gangly gal below who is supposed to do some singing but she's all jittery and got stage fright. I call her over, reach down and hold her hand, and tell her some encouraging things about the worst and best things that could happen. She calms down.
A music teacher or conductor walks up. I brace myself for a tongue lashing, like, how dare I mislead this poor woman, but actually he's very nice and even grateful.
2. T and I have retired to a hotel room. In the adjacent room, my rocker ex girlfriend and Google sales rep, M, is staying. She gets up real early to prepare a multi-course meal which I guess she will take him to her man. I really want to see her, but I am exhausted. I wake up just before noon, barely in time to see her bundle through the side door carrying lots of big plastic bags.
I sleepily ask, "Do you want some help with those?" but she brusquely shakes her head, walks past Theresa out the main door and is gone... [This hasty exit of hers with no time to talk is a recurring theme in my dreams.]
I cross back into M's now vacant hotel room. She has left behind a bowl with a couple of large white mushrooms in it. I reach for a spoon, and take a taste.
Hmm. Unusual. I thought it would be dry like regular mushrooms, but it's actually rather milky like a coconut would be. Theresa wanders in and I offer her a bite...
