I am with my friend Ron and we are climbing these huge rocky cliff sides. We get to the top and are over looking an incredible canyon. There are cave-like dwellings carved into the cliffs. We go exploring and find ourselves in one of the dwellings. We are peering out over the edge and gazing up at the beautiful night sky. Very content with the environment and enjoying each others company. I am feeling the history of the land very strongly and decide to explore on my own for a bit. I am walking down the backside of one of the cliffs and find this magnificent ancient temple/castle/palace. I am in India! The building was amazingly ornate with floral trim and stunning engravings and sculpture work. I am in awe of the structure and stare for a long while. Then I find myself inside of it and there are people busily scurrying about. I check in with myself and it seems I am now a young Indian girl probably around ten years old. A boy a year or two younger than myself comes frantically running up to me and is speaking to me in Hindi. I am not fully grasping what he is saying but it is very important. He gives me a very heartfelt deep hug and runs off. I start wandering the palace halls. There are amazing pieces of jewelry lining the halls. There are long narrow tables with magical looking tools on them. Hand engraved metal attached to several different kinds of stones. Some lay-women see me meandering and swiftly come to speak to me. They are also speaking to me in Hindi but now I am understanding it better. They are looking for the boy and are convinced I know his whereabouts. I explain to them that I don't know where he went and they are getting very anxious with my response. I feel like I just stepped into this scenario and into this little Indian girl's body and that much had happened before I entered into the scene. The women are looking at me with fear in their eyes and then a large man comes charging our way. The women are telling me to run, so I do. The man is very tall with long dark hair and a long beard and has golden brown skin. I am captivated by him and almost forget that I am supposed to be getting away from him. He is shouting at me. Saying "Where is the boy?!!!". I keep telling him that I don't know where he is. He is convinced that I do and says something like "You are the only one he would tell, I know you know where he went!!!!". He is gaining on me and has now drawn his sword. I am running through wings of the palace and still taking note of the magical objects laying around. I am cornered and he is closing in on me. He asks me one more time where the boy went and says that he has to kill me if I don't tell him. Again I explain that I don't know...... The women are running up behind him screaming at him to not harm me. He lunges forward and pierces me through the heart. I look down at the wound and am studying the nature of the pain associated with the line of blood coming from my chest. I fall to the ground and the women who are now dressed in all white flowy garments come and pick me up. They each have a hand on me and are carrying me over their heads. I am dead and I am watching the scene as a spirit now. The women take me to this huge stone slab. There is a table near by with several of the magical metal and stone objects from earlier on it. They each take one and each lay their free hand on my body. They are singing and chanting and dancing and waving the objects in a very precise manner. White fabric dancing in the air..... Even though I am in spirit form I start helping the women and am swirling around the scene helping them conjure. Then I feel my spirit being sucked back into the girls body and she wakes again. I am alive! They resurrected me! We resurrected me!
A silly side note to this dream..... I woke up and told Sean that I had just had a really interesting dream. I then said, "it must be the brand new sheets we put on last night". They are really fancy sheets and I thought maybe they had something to do with dreaming about a fancy temple. He looked at the tags and said, "hey these sheets were made in India! hee heee......"
