Flying spider adjusts my assemblage point

I’m in the library of my old house with all seven of my roommates. They are all standing in a group talking and I’m not that interested in what they are saying, so I step away from the group. I am observing the room it looks just as it does in my waking reality. Hardwood floors, two medium sized windows, Sean’s art stuff, a small pink table with a chess board and a lamp with a stained glass shade, two 1920’s looking beat up chairs, and of course the walls are lined with dark brown wooden bookshelves. I start thinking about how many books we have and how many of them I have not yet read.

I walk over to one of the book shelves to find an interesting new book. I hear a scratching noise and look up. At the top of the bookshelf is a tan and black spider the size of my head. I love spiders and was thrilled to see this. I got closer for a better look and realized it had wings. It started moving towards me fast. Then it jumped and flew up to the ceiling perched above us all. I kept saying to my roommates, “look at this amazing spider! Its huge!” They wouldn’t even take a glance at it and were acting as if they didn’t even believe me. I am staring up at it and it is staring back. then it starts flying around the room and landing on various objects. I am watching its every move. It lands right in front of my roommates and still they don’t notice it’s presence.

Then it flies straight at me and lands on my back, right where the neck meets the shoulders. I feel it biting me. It felt like it was sucking something more than blood out of me. I started feeling light headed and sick. I was making all sorts of strange sounds and my roommates were telling me to keep it down. I yelled out, “It bit me!” Then the spider moves up the back of my neck and stopped at the base of my head. I felt it bite again. This time it felt like it was injecting something into me. It was very painful and I was shrieking. It flew off of me and landed back at it’s original perch on top of the book shelf. I kept yelling, “It bit me, It bit me!” My roommates turned to me and told me that they didn’t believe me and that I was just doing all of this to get attention. I felt my body swelling up and it was getting harder and harder for me to breath. I told them that they needed tot take me to the hospital because I was dying. They would do nothing but shake their heads no at me.

By this point I was on the ground. I began crawling towards the front door. I was going to have to get myself to the hospital. I was struggling so much with every movement. I got to the door opened and pulled myself on to the porch. I got myself down the stairs and through the garden until I was finally out on the street in front of my car. I looked back at the porch and my roommates were standing there watching me and shaking there heads, still in disbelief. I got my car door open and was struggling to get inside. I kept almost making it up to the seat and then I would fall back out. I was giving up. I laid there on the pavement in the middle of the street gasping for air. I felt my last breaths approaching and then saw my friend Paul ride around the corner on his bicycle. He spotted me and swiftly road over to me. He took me in his arms and held his hand over the point where the spider had bit me the second time. He told me that the spider had shifted my assemblage point and my body was in shock. He kept his hand there to keep it in it’s new place and with his other hand began massaging my chest. My heart felt the warmth of his touch. I was beginning to feel better. I rolled over on got on my knees and began vomiting huge amounts of watery fluid. So much cam out of me. It felt like a purge. When I was done we sat together in the street against my car and he comforted me. I kept looking over at my roommates and they were on the porch drinking beers and smoking cigarettes. That is all I can recall.
