I'm in Bali with my mother and we're eating at a noodle-house with these two guys who are guiding us around... I remember them telling us stories over food.
The next day we're walking along, and we stop by a field where people are colorfully costumed and on stilts. They're rehearsing for something. All of a sudden this 'larger than life' UFO appears. If the sky were a screen, the UFO extended beyond the left and right boundaries of my vision, and it took up nearly the entire vertical space... The object shape-shifts instantly, changing forms in the blink of an eye. The mere size of it is foreboding/ominous, and the aesthetics of it are threatening. The final form that it takes is something that resembles an antenna [almost Eiffel Tower-esque] with a component that spins in a carousel style around the central tower (like this image of a clock I'm attaching, but instead of a clock it's an antenna, and instead of the balls, those are prongs on the tuning fork). The shape of the spinning portion is reminiscent of a tuning fork. This emits some kind of electromagnetic shockwave and it decimates most things in its path. I remember running different directions trying to escape it, but as I would head some distance down one path, there would be people running the opposite direction indicating that that wasn't a safe way to go. Finally I was able to stand my ground and face the shockwaves. It took my entire willpower, like flexing my whole body, to maintain my form as people, trees, buildings, benches, etc. around me were being 'vaporized.' I was being levitated and felt like this force was trying to rip me apart from my central core-point. I had to focus my being in the opposite direction (completely inward) in order to survive. To my right there was a bank in which people were entirely safe behind thick glass.
After the appearance and disappearance of the UFO, I went into the bank and started making accusations that they had known about the coming of this in advance and that they should be ashamed that they would let so many people die. They acted as though they didn't know what I was talking about... I remember them saying something weird along the lines of "The bank is the source, the Bank IS Source." Then they went for whatever they could find that resembled weapons: bottles, rod/baton things... A few of them made an attempt to attack me, but I was able to disarm and knock them out. From there I went back out into the Bali streets.
The next thing I know I'm in the airport with my mother. We hear on the monitors that our flight (direct to Indianapolis from Bali, haha like THAT exists) is delayed and will depart in 12 hours. At this point in the dream I am debating whether I'll return home, or consolidate my belongings into my backpack and stay indefinitely. I find this girl (who has a boyfriend) and I stop her in her tracks to say: it's either I go home now, or I stay... but I don't know anyone here, and have no-one to guide me... no place that's safe except with you... Her face lights up and she says to stay.
The next thing I know, I'm in some kind of boutique or store or something... It's interesting because I'm wearing what I was wearing to sleep, which is just this pair of boxers that have the word "Nice" written in different fonts all over it. I find myself sitting in the middle of several circles of people dressed in tribal style clothing, with painted faces, accessories and adornments. They are introducing themselves to me and accepting me into their community.
After some time and more introductions, I see there's an observation deck with some oddly shaped (all right angles/squares/rectangles, but not in traditional patterns) windows that look down into a theater with a stage. There's a weird gravity shift where I'm sitting cross-legged/"indian style" and my point of balance isn't at the base of my spine, but rather my knees. I lean forward against one of the glass porthole/windows and see the show being put on in the theater. There are aerialists, light poi spinners, dancers, and more.
I zoom back out and gravity returns to normal. Behind me there had been a dance party all along, and the DJ had been spinning for both inside the theater, and the people in the observation deck. It was David Starfire! Recognizing him, I went up to the DJ booth and knocked on the glass, he looked up and smiled at me, then retreated behind some curtain. The next thing I know, he's back at his station motioning for me to come through and he opens the side of the DJ booth and says welcome. Behind the curtain is the back-stage area of the theater, which wraps around the sides of it as well as behind the stage. Here I meet a dancer/performer who I thought was David's girlfriend, Tani, but she introduced herself as something else. I see people practicing their performances, and then a whole troupe of performers begin to gather in rank/formation. I remember sitting with some people backstage, recording the procession of performers on my iPhone.
I spot the girl who 'convinced' me to stay and ask her about the UFO happening... If it was 'just a dream.' I forget her response though...
AHH the memory's fading now. --- so much more happened, especially person to person interactions... The costumery and detail of the environment was so vivid and colorful-- even more so than Burning Man!
There were weird scenes in the third round of dreaming~ the last one I remember is kind of like a scene from Deep Blue with LL Cool J lol. It's a guy in a kitchen with a dead shark. He 'looks into the camera' (these scenes are a series of shots where people are looking into a camera and saying something, like checking in with the group that's plugged in, or something) and then goes back to his position, as though his 'hiding place' was playing dead~ he opens the shark's mouth and then closes its jaws with his hand to enclose around the top half of his head. Teeth going straight into his left eye etc.
I wish I could remember more of it...
