I find myself standing outside on top of what feels to be a corporate office building's roof garden area, time of day is afternoon. I'm outside talking to Mom and Aunt Anita when mom picks up a conversation we were having already and starts talking about how she wanted to "settle up" and buy me a bike today to clear some sort of debt.
Suddenly up high in the sky I see a massive structure way high in the earth's orbit, it looks like a giant, long black building with white trim and yellow lights throughout. Next to it, I see what appears to be jet 'escorts' following it closely. The massive structure in the sky comes down real fast and becomes more detailed and clear over a short moment after breaking through the atmosphere...it's a massive space ship. The ship breaks up into 3 giant pieces just before slamming into the ground. Mom and I gasp "whoa..." in awe, simultaneously. It appears to be an accident of grandeur at first and we keep looking on. I can hear people screaming all around. Suddenly a gargantuan anthropomorphic Mech rises hundreds of feet high and we all have a moment of stare-off with this thing not too far away. It looked so big that I felt like an ant relative to its size. Not even a second later we see more Mechs in the distance, rising up from the landscape and devouring buildings and killing people all around.
We start making our way for the door to get some cover when what appears to be an invasion or a war between them and humanity. We are tiny to these things.
I turn to see another robot land nearby and people begin freaking out inside nearby and literally break the glass out of the side of the skyscraper 20 feet away and they start piling out of the building like cattle over a cliff as if to get away from the robotic death incarnate. They have nowhere to go.
I rush inside and catch a glimpse of Lisa wearing a short light-rose skirt and spaghetti strap top. I try to yell for her but my voice cannot be projected or yelled far enough, I figure either the people's screaming and party music inside are too loud or I cannot yell very effectively (I find this frustrating). Shortly after, the place is empty and quiet with the sound of techno playing on a stereo in the giant building we're in. The lights are off and I continue to look for Lisa, yelling her name and trying to follow her, but this proves futile.
I see a young boy who says "We need to leave!" and runs out. I move past a living room space and into a bedroom to see what appears to be a childhood friend, Brian, laying at the end of a bed under some blankets.
"Get up, we gotta go!", I yell.
He just pulls the blanket over him as he rolls over. Is he giving up or wants to fight the bots and is waiting for things to settle? Unsure, I look out the window of this room and see down the street, things do not look good.
Everyone is gone, the place is empty and dark and I'm alone before I awake.
This was a long dream, much more happened before-hand that I cannot seem to recall. But, no sense of immediate danger until the above played out.
