In an aspect of my dreams last night, I met a woman who was married to a famous composer. She was independently famous- perhaps an actress, and both were older and had peaked in terms of fame in the 1950's-1960's. She reminds me of Grace Kelley. We chatted and got along quite well, made plans to meet up again soon.
The next week (I think) I went to meet up with her at her headquarters- a large airport hanger with a huge mechanic garage attached to it and living quarters. I drove up in my old Mercedes, and she checked it and opted to keep it for an oil change. Told me to hang out and meet her fellow while I waited. I remember doing so, and further bonding with both of them.
I also remember another man walking into the shop and hobnobbing with the old couple. He asked me how long I had known them, and how we met. I got the impression he was trying to gauge how important or valuable I was based on how close I was with the couple. I privately noted/resented that assessment choice (as I usually do) but played along (as I usually do).
