after a long period of slow boring dreams i finally had a good one, although kinda scary
The dream starts with me rollerblading down main street in the downtown area with some friends, i look up at the buildings and i see a giant metallic foot come crashing through the building. i was like wow thats amazing! all i could see were giant mechanical legs and feet stomping everything, they were so massive you had much warning before they came crashing down.
so i skate back towards home trying to save my friends and the giant foot comes crashing down like 10 feet away from me. i end up in jackson square (mall) and everyones in a panic, i notice people outside pointing and looking up, i go outside and see whats new and i see about a dozen metallic disks (typical UFO looking craft) floatin around beaming people up. i was incredibly frightened at this point
i some how make it back to my home to find it crushed and my dad is sifting through the rubble to find my dog. i look up in the sky and see more UFOS and i feel myself being lifted in the sky.
i wake up in a operating table with a typical alien grey beside me, he is telling me to be very afraid, and all these horrible things hes going to do to me, i am absolutely shocked with fear and somehow manage to ask him why they need humans, he goes on to tell a story of how they need human blood cells to power their ships lol, then the alien brings in this beast who looks like goro from mortal combat. the grey explains that when hes done extracting all he needs from my body hes gonna feed me to Goro.
then something tells me in my mind not to be afraid, i close my eyes take a deep breath and then i leaped out of the operating table and grabbed goro in a head lock, put my hands in his mouth and ripped open his jaw lol it was intensely brutal he drops dead and i do the same to the grey, the grey was flimsy like playdoh
next thing i know i have a alien craft at my control, i sit in the driver seat and just "think" where to go and i leap there, i leaped to the edge of our solar system then back home. then i wake up
i lay there thinking about the dream for a few minutes and then fall back asleep and im back at my crushed house, and i see even more disks in the sky, i was like NO i dont wanna have this dream again and i woke up
To dream of a stranger pleasing you, denotes good health and pleasant surroundings; if he displeases you, look for disappointments.
To dream you are an alien, denotes abiding friendships.
Dreaming of being an Alien, shows that there is an aspect of your personality that nobody have discovered yet. Maybe you do not know it yourself, and you will be surprised by your own abilities. It also shows that you are a person with lots of imagination and creativity, you try to find innovative solutions to all kinds of worries. When you dream that you are surrounded by aliens is an indication that you might be finding some difficulties ajusting to a new environment, new people or a new job. By dreaming that you are being abducted by aliens, and if you find that experience to be exciting and positive, it means that you are trying ot escape the harsh reality by finding some "out of this world" solutions, to very down to earth problems. You are a very sensitive person, full of dreams and hopes, but life has not been always easy for you. If you feel frightened and threatened by aliens who have abducted you, it means that you feel greatly threatened to lose your familiar inner circle, your family, friends and home.
Occasionally, people will have dreams about UFO's and aliens. What these dreams symbolise, collectively or individually is difficult to explain and understand. Meeting and talking to aliens may suggests that significant changes are coming into your life and, at the moment, things feel strange and foreign to you. If you dream that you are the alien, it suggests that you may feel detached from some parts of yourself and from others. You may be a stranger in your immediate surroundings, and some self-evaluation and familiarisation is suggested.
The deepest and most ancient meaning of the myth of the giant alludes
to the supposed existence of an immense, primordial being, by whose sacrifice
creation was brought forth. This cosmogonic myth was very common among
primitive and ancient peoples, and it shows how rites involving the sacrifice of
humans are an attempt to revive the initial sacrifice and to resuscitate the cosmic
forces or to reawaken, at least, their favourable proclivities (17). Now, the giant
is, in himself, neither good nor bad, but merely a quantitative amplification of the
ordinary; hence, as the case may be, there are some legendary giants who are
protectors and others who are aggressive. This sense of the giant as ‘that which
surpasses’ human stature (here symbolic of power and strength), is also indicative of the broad significance of the giant. He may be an image of the ‘Terrible
Father’, arising from childhood memories—children see their parents as giants—
or an image of the unconscious, the ‘dark side’ of the personality menacing the
Jungian Selbst (21), etc. It is interesting to note that in folklore the giant is tutelar
in character: he is usually the defender of the common people against the overlord, upholding their liberties and rights. Without generalizing, one implication of
the giant may be said to be the personification of collective Man—as implied in
the maxim ‘united we stand’—or of the life of a community (16). But the general
myth of the giant is far from being confined to this specialized meaning. In nearly
all symbolic traditions, he tends to appear as an outcropping of the marvellous
and the terrible, even though he always has a certain quality of the inferior or the
subordinate about him. The Bible refers to Goliath and to Og, king of Bashan at
the time of the exodus (46). Samson has certain characteristics of the giant. In the
West, Bodo, Rübezahl, Geryon, Gargantua and Hercules are the most significant
in gigantomachy; in Greek tradition, there are the Titans and the Cyclops. Christian tradition has often seen Satan as a giant (50). The tragic hero is intimately
linked with the giant, although, at times, in inverse relation as his adversary (60).
Frazer describes the numerous cases in which giant figures in wood or wickerwork were set fire to during midsummer festivals, comparable with the Valencian
fallas (or bonfires). The ancients would fill these figures with animals and even
live men, who were burnt with the effigy. They were considered as representatives of the spirit of vegetation, or of the god sacrificed to the world—which
brings us back once again to our cosmogonic interpretation. The giant may be a
symbol of ‘everlasting rebellion’, of the forces of dissatisfaction which grow
within Man and determine his history and his destiny; it may, that is to say, be a
symbol of the Universal Man (Adam Kadmon, 21). Now, according to Jungian 119 GOG AND MAGOG
psychology, the giant’s essence—or his appearance, rather—seems to correspond to the father-symbol, representing the spirit that withstands the instincts,
or as the guardian of the treasure (that is, the mother—the unconscious), in which
case it is identical with the dragon-symbol. Reviewing all this, Jung quotes the
example of Humbaba, the guardian of the garden of Ishtar in the Gilgamesh epic
(31).

In all probability, the foot is to be taken as an ambivalent symbol. For
Jung, it is what confirms Man’s direct relationship with the reality of the earth,
and he considers that it is frequently phallic in significance (31). Ania Teillard
points out that, like the hand, it is an essential part of the body and the support
of one’s entire person; she recalls that in the mythology of a number of countries
the rays of the sun are compared with the feet, as witness the figure of the
swastika (56). But Diel makes the revolutionary assertion that the foot is a
symbol of the soul, possibly because it serves as the support of the body in the
sense of keeping man upright. He quotes examples which show that, in Greek
legends, lameness usually symbolizes some defect of the spirit—some essential
blemish. Jung corroborates this, observing that Hephaestus, Wieland the Blacksmith and Mani all had deformed feet (31). May it not be that certain talents are
given to men to compensate for some physical defect? Schneider has indicated the
heel as the ‘area of vulnerability and of attack’ in the foot. It is the heel that
scotches the serpent or that is wounded by it (as with Achilles, Sigurd, Krishna)
(50). According to Aigremont, ‘the shoe, like the foot and the footprint, has also
a funereal implication. In a sense, a dying man “is going away”. There is no evidence of his going away save his last footmarks. This sombre symbolism is
illustrated, possibly, in the monuments characteristic of the Roman Empire, and,
beyond question, in primitive Christian art. . . .’ (And also, we might add, in
Gothic art. The passage is quoted by Stekel.)
To dream that you injured or hurt your foot, signifies a lack of progress, freedom, and independence. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you have taken a step in the wrong direction. In particular, if you dream that your foot is cut by glass, then it indicates passivity. You are hesitant or reluctant in taking the first step toward a goal or decision.
