In this odd (normal) dream. I was a kid, and I was with a group of other kids who were exploring around a forest, and we were excited to find some amazing crystals that were growing out of the side of a huge rock.
The crystals were different colors, mostly different shades of orange to brown, and a few of the clear ones that I like. I pulled a few of them off the rock. It felt physically real. I took two small, clear ones and one that was pale orange or peach colored.
I heard one of the other kids saying that the larger crystals were worth millions of dollars, so we were going to be rich. We went back to school, hiding our crystals we had stolen. Except for one boy who walked into the room holding his crystal, so everyone could see it. It was a pointy obelisk-like shape, but it was really thick, and almost as big as a bowling ball. He was holding it up in one hand. It was a darker orange color, like amber, but it might have been a citrine.
I whispered to the boy sitting next to me “We're going to get in trouble for stealing the crystals.”
He whispered back, “Keep your mouth shut, and we won't get in trouble”
As it turned out, we did not get in trouble, because we found out that our crystals were so common, they were worth nothing. This was a relief to me.
Then suddenly we all aged into being adults, and I became an elderly lady. I was reading an article about what it's like to go into retirement. At first the article described it as a kind of a adventure or vacation, but then it kept getting more depressing, and I read “when you retire, no one will be there to care about you or pick you up when you fall down.” :(
