I was at a crowded outdoor marketplace. I had my own booth, or table, and I was going to sell some cupcakes and cookies. They had colorful frosting and sprinkles, with a fourth of July theme. I know it's a bit late for that.
I still had a lot of work to do with assembling the cupcakes, etc, and I had a little feeling of excitement. Until I turned my back on what I was doing, and then when I looked at my table, suddenly the ingredients were gone, and I suspected I had been robbed.
That was disappointing, but I decided to go ahead and buy more ingredients, so that I could continue.
In another segment of the dream, I met up with my dad, who kept asking me to go to the bookstore and read more books. I told him that I already have books that I haven't read, because I don't have the time to read them all.
It's true that my dad used to encourage me to read, many years ago. It has also been a recurring theme for me to complain that I don't have time to read books. In the past, I have had dreams about going to the library and gathering up a lot of books, and realizing sadly that I can't read them all.
