It's been so long. You're clouding my thoughts again, creeping into every aspect of me. So, I doze off, and there you are.
You're lying in twin-sized bed when I open up the door. The room is flooded with light. Your asleep, but it's been so long, and I don't care if I wake you. I sit on your feet, and your warm smile spreads across your face. You sit up and wrap me in the tightest embrace. I'm kissing your cheeks, and you're kissing mine.
I've missed you.
You stand up, and sit in front of your computer. You've explained that you have so much music that you've made, that I have to hear. I'm standing behind you with my arms wrapped around your neck. You make the prettiest music.
Some outside noise from the physical world wakes me from my slumber. I'm kind of pissed off about this.
I fall back asleep, and the tone of my dreamworld has changed from the bright white, purples and black. to very glum maroon, black, gray and blues.
I'm with a group of people in Romania. Cobblestone streets, and Dracula-esque castles. The sky was stormy black and gray.
These people are saying that we're going to a haunted castle. I'm refusing to go in. I'm making my point very bold, I don't go into haunted castles. The group is getting annoyed with my refusals, I make them believe I'm giving in and walk a ways towards the castle.. and turn back while no ones looking.
I wait it out in the van. Some other girl is with me.
The group returns. They're angry because we didn't go.
I tell them to fuck off.
A woman in a dark pink and black lace Victorian dress walks towards me, from behind the group. She looks like Roxi, a girl from Romania I worked with this past summer. Her hair is long, and jet black and curled really fancy. She grabs me, and the girl sitting beside me and drags us to the castle.
"Roxi" leads us up many flights of stairs, and pushes us into a room. She's mad at us for something. I feel so confused. The door locks from the outside. We're stuck. There's a tiny window that doesn't open. The room only has a bed.
We spend the night there. Stranded.
Morning breaks, and I'm peering out of the window. When I do, my perspective pans all around different happenings in the town. I focus in on a gypsy trailer. There's a man sitting in it, he looks like Daniel Craig. I see another man in a red suit usher in three women.
One woman is beautiful. Doe-eyed, pixie faced and slim. She looks angry. Another is short and fat. The other, incredibly ugly.
"Daniel Craig" points at the most beautiful girl, and moments later. She's in the room with stranger girl and me.
I look out the window again, and my vision pans to a woman and her daughter on a large farm outside of town. The woman is short, and very Asian looking. Her hair is black, and curled into a bun atop her head. She's wearing a blue and black lace Victorian style dress. Her daughter is gorgeous. Long, dark brown hair and cat-like eyes.
Her mother is yelling at her, that they need more cotton or something... but, moments later. Her daughter is in the room with us.
Cat-eyes is going on about how we need to escape, I'm in agreement. "Roxi" opens the door, and about twelve other people join us.
"Roxi" tells us to form a single-file line, and follow her down the hallway. She leads us to a room full of computers, we're all confused. She tells us to get on the computers and do classes. We obey. The next few days, this becomes routine.
We do geography classes and grammar. I finally get the nerve to challenge why we're doing this. She replies
"You need to learn!"
I'm arguing with her back and forth. I'm showing her I'm not scared.
I end up befriending "Roxi" enough for her to let me out of the room and go on walks through the castle with her. One day, she says that we wants to take me to private quarters. I agree to go. She leads me down a huge, spiraling staircase to the very first floor.
There are so many people! And, a huge round kiosk with an elderly lady behind. I assume this place is a museum.
"Roxi" offers me alcohol from behind the kiosk. I say yes. I'm searching through the booze, it's all in Romanian so I decide, fuck it I'm going to take what looks like beer and is the biggest.
We're walking to this back room, a huge food storage unit. There's those plastic dividers everywhere. We walk up a really sketchy flight of wooden stairs. There's a girl who looks like Kirsten Dunst in Spiderman standing at the top of the stairs. I keep making Mary Jane jokes at her, and she's pissed. At the top of the stairs, there was a platform. The girl stood there and managed the many platforms you had to jump to to get to this giant portrait.
"Roxi" swiftly crosses, and I am having troubles. She makes this weird noise, and the picture separates, and I catch a glimpse of her room.
I finally make it in front of the portrait. I'm trying to open it.
The portrait opens, a woman is walking behind me. She's rather sexy, very light skinned and had a beauty mark above her lip. Her hair was black, gorgeous face. She walks right past me. "Roxi" and "Daniel Craig" are in bed together fucking. The sexy woman shoots both of them. I find myself in a corner panicking. The woman looks at me and without looking at the window, shoots it and nods for me to go out.
The next I remember... stranger girl, doe-eyes, cat-eyes and I are on motorcycles basically flying down this desert highway. We all find our way.
This is a complex symbol, derived at once from that of the house and
that of the enclosure or walled city. Walled cities figure in mediaeval art as a
symbol of the transcendent soul and of the heavenly Jerusalem. Generally speaking, the castle is located on the top of a mountain or hill, which suggests an
additional and important meaning derived from the symbolism of level. Its shape,
form and colour, its dark and light shades, all play an important part in defining
the symbolic meaning of the castle as a whole, which, in the broadest sense, is an
embattled, spiritual power, ever on the watch. The ‘black castle’ has been interpreted as the alchemists’ lair, as well as a rain cloud poised above a mountain-top
(50). Its significance as the Mansion of the Beyond, or as the entrance to the
Other World, would seem obvious enough. In a great many legends, the Castle of
Darkness, inhabited by a ‘Black Knight’, is symbolic of the abode of Pluto; this
is confirmed by Theseus’ mythic journey into hell. Charon has his abode in a
similar castle which is inaccessible to living men (the ‘castle of no return’ of
folktales). In the legendary heaven of Nordic tradition, the same meaning is to be
found. Melwas, the abducter of Guinevere, dwells in a castle surrounded by a
deep moat, the only means of access being two bridges difficult to negotiate.
According to Krappe, it is very possible that the underlying symbolism of all
mediaeval tales and legends about a castle owned by a ‘wicked knight’ who holds
captive all who approach his domain may well be that of the sinister castle of the
Lord of the Underworld (35). On the other hand, the ‘Castle of Light’ is the
‘redemption’-aspect of this same image. Piobb explains that the sudden appearance of a castle in the path of a wanderer is like the sudden awareness of a spiritual
pattern. ‘Before this fascinating vision, all fatigue disappears. One has the clear
impression that treasure lies within. The splendid temple is the achieving of the
inconceivable, the materialization of the unexpected’ (48). The castle, in sum,
together with the treasure (that is, the eternal essence of spiritual wealth), the
damsel (that is, the anima in the Jungian sense) and the purified knight, make up
a synthesis expressive of the will to salvation.

A castle in a dream may be symbolic of the "cavern of the heart." It represents the home of the human spirit (yours) and the natural self. Dreams with castles in them may come from deeper levels of the unconscious, or the collective unconscious. They may represent spiritual transcendence and the mysterious and intangible force that seems to quietly, but firmly, direct our lives. A castle in a dream may also represent feelings of security, protection, isolation or remoteness. You may have a castle dream when you have realised a desire or accomplished a goal. Darkened castles may be symbolic of unconscious or unfocused desires, at times, black castles represent our failures and white, or lighted castles, symbolise achievement and awareness. If you dream that a castle is under siege, you may desire more freedom. If a castle is being destroyed, you may be worried about future dangers.
To dream that you are in the Victorian period, indicates that you are feeling sexually repressed. You feel you are unable to full express yourself. If you are wearing Victorian style clothes, then it means that you are feeling confined or restricted in some way. The dreaming mind likes to play word games and so the dream may point to someone in your life who is named "Vicky" or "Victoria". Or it can signify victory!
To dream that you are shot, represents a form of self-punishment that you may be unconsciously imposing on yourself. You may have done something that you are ashamed of or are not proud of. If you are shot and come back as a different person, then it indicates that you need to start fresh. You want to wipe the past away and literally become a new person.
To dream that you are shot, and are feeling the sensations of dying, denotes that you are to meet unexpected abuse from the ill feelings of friends, but if you escape death by waking, you will be fully reconciled with them later on.

A symbol of individuality—of private thoughts. The windows symbolize the possibility of understanding and of passing through to the external and
the beyond, and are also an illustration of any idea of communication. Hence, a
closed room lacking windows may be symbolic of virginity, according to Frazer,
and also of other kinds of non-communication. Many rites involving the
enclosureimage are performed to mark the reaching of puberty, all over the world.
The legend about Danae, shut up by her father in a bronze tower, pertains to this
particular symbolism. There is a Siberian legend concerning a ‘dark house of iron’
which is also relevant to it (21). We might also mention the ‘vase with a lid’, one
of the eight emblems of good luck in Chinese Buddhism, and a symbol of wholeness, of the idea with no ‘exit’, or, in other words, of supreme intelligence triumphant over birth and death (signified respectively by the doors and windows of
the room) (5). This explains why the hermetically sealed room may possibly be
a variant form of the ‘vase with a lid’.
To dream that you are in a room, represents a particular aspect of yourself or a specific relationship. Dreams about various rooms often relate to hidden areas of the conscious mind and different aspects of your personality. If the room is welcoming or comfortable, then it signifies opulence and satisfaction in life. If you see a dark or confined room, then it denotes that you feel trapped or repressed in a situation.
To dream that you find or discover a new room, suggests that you are developing new strengths and taking on new roles. You may be growing emotionally. Consider what you find in the discovered room as it may indicate repressed memories, fears, or rejected emotions. Alternatively, such rooms are symbolic of neglected skills or rejected potential.

Seeing a girl in your dream, represents your playful, innocent, and childlike nature. Perhaps you have been behaving prematurely. Dreaming about a girl that you just met, represents your anxieties and thoughts of whether you had made a good impression on her and what she thought of you. If she told you that she disliked you in the dream, then it may be an excuse for you to dismiss her and not pursue a relationship that is beyond friendship. For a man to dream that he is a girl means that he aspires to be an actor and play female parts.
In anthropology, woman corresponds to the passive principle of
nature. She has three basic aspects: first, as a siren, lamia or monstrous being who
enchants, diverts and entices men away from the path of evolution; second, as the
mother, or Magna mater (the motherland, the city or mother-nature) related in
turn to the formless aspect of the waters and of the unconscious; and third, as the
unknown damsel, the beloved or the anima in Jungian psychology. In his Symbols
of Transformation, Jung maintains that the ancients saw Woman as either Eve,
Helen, Sophia or Mary (corresponding to the impulsive, the emotional, the intellectual, and the moral) (33). One of the purest and all-embracing archetypes of
Woman as anima is Beatrice in Dante’s Commedia (32). All allegories based upon
the personification of Woman invariably retain all the implications of the three
basic aspects mentioned above. Of great interest are those symbols in which the
Woman appears in association with the figure of an animal—for example, the
swan-woman in Celtic and Germanic mythology, related to the woman with the
hoof of a goat in Hispanic folklore. In both cases the woman disappears once her
maternal mission has been completed and, similarly, the virgin qua virgin ‘dies’ in order to give way to the matron (31). In iconography it is common to find parts
of the female figure combined with that of a lion. The Egyptian goddess Sekhmet,
characterized by her destructiveness, had the body of a woman and the head (and
therefore the mind) of a lion. Conversely, a figure with a lion’s body and a
woman’s head appears in the Hieroglyphica of Valeriano as an emblem of the
hetaira (39). The inclusion of feminine, morphological elements in the composition of traditional symbols such as the sphinx always alludes to a background of
nature overlaid with the projection of a concept or of an entire complex of cosmic
intuitions. In consequence, the Woman is an archetypal image of great complexity
in which the decisive factor may be the superimposed symbolic aspects—for
example, the superior aspects of Woman as Sophia or Mary determine her function as a personification of science or of supreme virtue; and when presented as
an image of the anima, she is superior to the man because she is a reflection of the
loftiest and purest qualities of the man. In her baser forms as Eve or as Helen—
the instinctive and emotional aspects—Woman is on a lower level than the man.
It is here, perhaps, that she appears at her most characteristic—a temptress, the
Ewig Weibliche, who drags everything down with her, and a symbol comparable
with the volatile principle in alchemy, signifying all that is transitory, inconsistent, unfaithful and dissembling. See also The Loved One and Sophia.

If the woman in your dream was a stranger and you are a man, she could be symbolic of your feminine side or your attitude about women. Climbing may represent an achievement of your ambitions and a movement in a positive direction. Since it consists of an aperture, the window expresses the ideas of
penetration, of possibility and of distance, and because it is square in shape, its
implications are rational and terrestrial. It is also symbolic of consciousness (32),
especially when it is located at the top of a tower, by analogy with the head of the
human figure. Divided windows carry a secondary significance, which may at
times even be the predominant sense, deriving from the number of openings or lights and from the inter-relationships between the relevant number-symbolism
and the general symbolism of the window (Plate XXXI).
To see windows in your dreams, is an augury of fateful culmination to bright hopes. You will see your fairest wish go down in despair. Fruitless endeavors will be your portion.
To see closed windows is a representation of desertion. If they are broken, you will be hounded by miserable suspicions of disloyalty from those you love.

A window is a rich dream symbol. Its accurate interpretation can lead to awareness and a better understanding of a personal outlook on life. If you are looking through the window, pay close attention to what you are looking at. Is it a beautiful landscape or a scene dealing with an experience or a situation from your past? Looking through a window and seeing a beautiful landscape may represent your desire for greater satisfaction and more peace in your life. If you are seeing something familiar, you may be able to perceive the situation in a new way and gain some insight. Some say that a window may represent a time frame. A closed window suggests an inability to effectively communicate, and an opened widow may represent desire for new adventure in life. Windows in our houses allow us to see the world on the outside, the windows in our dreams may encourage us to better see the world within ourselves, as well as the world outside.
A feminine symbol (32) which, notwithstanding, contains all the implications of the symbolic hole, since it is the door which gives access to the hole; its
significance is therefore the antithesis of the wall. There is the same relationship
between the temple-door and the altar as between the circumference and the
centre: even though in each case the two component elements are the farthest
apart, they are nonetheless, in a way, the closest since the one determines and
reflects the other. This is well illustrated in the architectural ornamentation of
cathedrals, where the façade is nearly always treated as if it were an altar-piece.
To dream that you are entering through a door, signifies new opportunities that are presented before you. You are entering into a new stage in your life and moving from one level of consciousness to another.
