I've realized that my dreams usually take to a specific color theme. And, that I often remember the ones with a more gray-scaled, drab purple, and deep pink tones.
Specifically this one...
I had been working in a pie shop with a few other girls in a small, run-down town. The girls were sisters. They all had dark, dark eyes and deep, brown hair. Pale skin and pretty frames.
We would close before the sun set, and I would drive home to my small apartment.
My abode boasted drab 70's decor.
I walked into my room down the hall and found a note someone had written on a blank page of my notebook. Underneath they scribbled their name, and I replied. Each morning I would wake up and go to work with the pale, dark haired sisters making pie...(once, while driving to work I witnessed a car accident. A dark pink suv collided sideways with a blue truck.) and, I would come home and read another note and reply.
I had eventually ended up moving away to be with the person who had been writing me notes. Who, I cannot make out, for whenever their image appeared in my dream they were extremely fuzzy. However, I could make out light skin and brown eyes, shoulder length brown hair and a full mustache and beard.
We decided to visit the small town and visit the girls in the pie shop, to find that they were not there. I had managed to find them in a hall with a stage. They looked hardly familiar.
The prettiest one of the sisters face looked morph, and her skin ashen. Her forehead was wide, and her cheeks pinched in. She was wearing a shiny black dress, as I got closer a man approached me and explained that after I left radiation had swept over the town (I'm not sure the origin of the radiation, I'm sure he explained it better in the dream.) and had disfigured most of the residents in the town. He warned me to leave quickly....
And so I did, and the girls did not speak once.
