I was going to get on a plane coming back from England and a woman was checking me in for my flight. Her dogs were getting very excited. I was traveling with Jamie, and he ended up paying for the cab to the airport since I didn't have any UK cash.
Chelsea, Marco, and many of my other friends were there. There was some type of concert going on in the airport, though at the time I thought I was already on the plane. The first band was heavy industrial music, black goth makeup with a male lead singer and a woman vamping around on the back of the stage. She was singing about going to hell over and over. I remember wondering if they thought there were cool, and knowing that they were opening doors to dark places. I was the members of Ministry and a couple of other bands around.
I asked the guy next to me to watch my stuff, which was some papers and some vitamins, but he made a stink about it, so I took my stuff and walked away. He seemed familiar. I sat and watched the concert for a bit, then realized I wasn't actually on the plane. I was in the lobby of the airport, and all my friends had already left on the plane. Went to talk to woman about getting a new flight, but was freaking out because I didn't have any money to buy myself a new flight. It was midnight, and I had been there for two hours already, though it didn't seem to be that long.

In anthropology, woman corresponds to the passive principle of
nature. She has three basic aspects: first, as a siren, lamia or monstrous being who
enchants, diverts and entices men away from the path of evolution; second, as the
mother, or Magna mater (the motherland, the city or mother-nature) related in
turn to the formless aspect of the waters and of the unconscious; and third, as the
unknown damsel, the beloved or the anima in Jungian psychology. In his Symbols
of Transformation, Jung maintains that the ancients saw Woman as either Eve,
Helen, Sophia or Mary (corresponding to the impulsive, the emotional, the intellectual, and the moral) (33). One of the purest and all-embracing archetypes of
Woman as anima is Beatrice in Dante’s Commedia (32). All allegories based upon
the personification of Woman invariably retain all the implications of the three
basic aspects mentioned above. Of great interest are those symbols in which the
Woman appears in association with the figure of an animal—for example, the
swan-woman in Celtic and Germanic mythology, related to the woman with the
hoof of a goat in Hispanic folklore. In both cases the woman disappears once her
maternal mission has been completed and, similarly, the virgin qua virgin ‘dies’ in order to give way to the matron (31). In iconography it is common to find parts
of the female figure combined with that of a lion. The Egyptian goddess Sekhmet,
characterized by her destructiveness, had the body of a woman and the head (and
therefore the mind) of a lion. Conversely, a figure with a lion’s body and a
woman’s head appears in the Hieroglyphica of Valeriano as an emblem of the
hetaira (39). The inclusion of feminine, morphological elements in the composition of traditional symbols such as the sphinx always alludes to a background of
nature overlaid with the projection of a concept or of an entire complex of cosmic
intuitions. In consequence, the Woman is an archetypal image of great complexity
in which the decisive factor may be the superimposed symbolic aspects—for
example, the superior aspects of Woman as Sophia or Mary determine her function as a personification of science or of supreme virtue; and when presented as
an image of the anima, she is superior to the man because she is a reflection of the
loftiest and purest qualities of the man. In her baser forms as Eve or as Helen—
the instinctive and emotional aspects—Woman is on a lower level than the man.
It is here, perhaps, that she appears at her most characteristic—a temptress, the
Ewig Weibliche, who drags everything down with her, and a symbol comparable
with the volatile principle in alchemy, signifying all that is transitory, inconsistent, unfaithful and dissembling. See also The Loved One and Sophia.

The symbolism of flight comprises a variety of elements. The most
basic derives from the pleasurable sensation of movement in a medium that is
more subtle than water and unfettered by gravity. But, this apart, flying implies
raising oneself and is therefore closely connected with the symbolism of level, not
only in connexion with moral values but also with the notion of superiority
applied to other qualities, such as power or strength. Diel has pointed out that the
importance of the ‘rise and fall’ image—as illustrated in the myth of Icarus in
particular—is corroborated by a great many authors (15). And Bachelard has
observed that ‘of all metaphors, only those pertaining to height, ascent, depth,
descent and fall are axiomatic. Nothing can explain them but they can explain
everything.’ Flight has also been conceived as the ‘transcendence of growth’.
According to Toussenel, in Le Monde des oiseaux, ‘we envy the bird his good
fortune and endow with wings the object of our love, for we know by instinct
that, in the sphere of complete happiness, our bodies will enjoy the power to
wheel through space as the bird flies through the air’ (3). Flight is related to space
and light; psychologically it is a symbol of thought and of imagination.

Alternatively, the dream may also suggest that you are feeling disconnected in some aspect of your life - work, relationship or home life.

In the late thirteenth century, the idea of the fairy was demonized, and through the next century it became a popular belief that sorcerers and witches had spirit familiars. Among the earliest appearances of the familiar was in 1303 when Philip IV of France had Pope Boniface VIII deposed. Among other charges listed against Boniface, Philip accused him of sorcery and possession of a familiar. In return for a pact with the devil, a witch was said to be given a personal demon in the form of a domestic animal that would assist the witch in carrying out malevolent magic. The Scottish witch Isobel Gowdie stated, "Each one of us has a spirit to wait upon us, when we please to call upon him." The most common form for a witch's familiar was a cat, and since so many old women kept cats as companions in their loneliness, it was not difficult for witch hunters to make accusations of sorcery. The familiars had pet names, again a characteristic of domestic cats and dogs. During the witchcraft trials at Chelmsford, England, in March 1582, Ursula Kemp confessed that she "had four spirits, whereof two of them were hes, and the other two shes were to punish with lameness and other diseases of bodily harm….One he, like a gray cat, is called Tittey; the second, like a black cat, is called Jack; one she, like a black toad, is called Pigin; and the other, like a black lamb, is called Tyffin." Elizabeth Bennet said she had a familiar called "Suckin, being black like a dog." Alice Manfield had four imps, Robin, Jack, William, and Puppet, "two hes and two shes, all like unto black cats." Agnes Heard had six familiars that were blackbirds, white-speckled and all black.
