In one of my dreams, Erik Davis wanted to work on a book with me. He had sketched out some notes on lot and scene setting on a piece of lined notebook paper. There were 4 entries or so on the first page written in pencil, and another page with 2 entries on it.
I only started reading the first line, which gave the main characters name and described the introductory scene which was set in an elevator. I told him that I was already working on a book project, a graphic novel about the dreamtime, and felt a little uncomfortable because it seemed he really wanted me to ghost write this story for him. I was traveling in a car and didn't know how to tell him I couldn't work on this project with him, so I turned to look at him in the passenger seat and started asking him if he had ever tried writing fiction.
Jello was in the back seat, and reached forward and put his hand on my shoulder to give me emotional support as he knew it was an uncomfortable situation for me to tell Erik I couldn't work on the book.
In another dream, I was at the beach and there was a young woman there who had an animal with her. I don't remember what kind it was however, but she was getting ready to let it go, to release it. There was hesitation, as maybe she wasn't ready, or was having a hard time with the animal. I remember walking down towards the water, and there were reflections of many different water dreams that I have had.
In another dream I was working on a techno track, and some really interesting and heavy sounds came out. Noah Pred came in was I was listening to the demo, and his eyes widened, as there were many really interesting sounds going on. He shared something he was working on as well.
In another dream, I was at the border, trying to get my stuff together, and there were many many buses in green full of christian camp kids. My ID was a bit funky, or my passport, so I needed to get out and look in my backpack for my wallet and find another piece of ID. It seems that I was driving alone, and at some point got turned around trying to figure out what line to be in. One line was full and really long, but the line I was in had a tree in front of me, so I had to figure out how to go around it and get in the other lane. When I moved over into that lane, there weren't that many care at all. At one point, it seemed the streets rose up in multiple levels, and I was on the wrong level in front of a stadium, so had to backtrack and figure out how to get to the level that I needed to cross the border.
To dream that you are riding in an automobile, signifies that even in pleasant situations, you will still be restless and uneasy.
To dream that you nearly escape from the impact of an automobile, denotes that you will successfully overcome any rivalry.
To dream that there is no one driving the automobile, suggests that you need to reassess your level of control over your life. You are unwilling to take responsibilities for your actions.
To dream that you ride in an automobile, denotes that you will be restless under pleasant conditions, and will make a change in your affairs. There is grave danger of impolitic conduct intimated through a dream of this nature.
If one breaks down with you, the enjoyment of a pleasure will not extend to the heights you contemplate.
To find yourself escaping from the path of one, signifies that you will do well to avoid some rival as much as you can honestly allow.
For a young woman to look for one, she will be disappointed in her aims to entice some one into her favor.
Vehicles that you ride in usually reflect two things; the direction you are heading in life, and your body. (the thing you travel or "ride" through life in) This might vary if you are a mechanic or designer of vehicles. Unusually over exposure to a specific vehicle type may easily change the meaning. The condition of the vehicle might give you an idea of your health. Driving an old beat up car down a muddy road on a stormy night would be considered a pretty bad dream! However flying a Lear jet through blue skies with a song in your heart and the wind at your tail would be a rather good dream. :)
Up to a certain point it corresponds to landscape-symbolism in general,
of which it forms one representational aspect, embracing the important symbols
of level and space, that is, height and situation. With the dawning of history there
arose, according to René Guénon, a true, ‘sacred geography’ and the position,
shape, doors and gates, and general disposition of a city with its temples and
acropolis were never arbitrary or fortuitous, or merely utilitarian. In fact, cities
were planned in strict accord with the dictates of a particular doctrine; hence the
city became a symbol of that doctrine and of the society which upheld it (28).
The city walls had magic powers since they were the outward signs of dogma,
which explains and justifies Romulus’s fratricide. Ornamental reliefs on capitals,
lintels, and tympana of the Middle Ages often depict the outlines of a walled city,
although in a way which is more emblematic than symbolic. These ornaments are
a kind of prefiguration of the heavenly Jerusalem. An angel armed with a sword is
sometimes to be seen at the city gate (46). Jung sees the city as a mother-symbol
and as a symbol of the feminine principle in general: that is, he interprets the City
as a woman who shelters her inhabitants as if they were her children; that is why
the two mother-gods Rhea and Cybele—as well as other allegorical figures derived from them—wear a crown after the pattern of a wall. The Old Testament
speaks of cities as women (31).

You are feeling alienated and alone. To dream that you are in a deserted city, indicates that you feel rejected by those around you.
To dream of a city in ruins, denotes that you are neglecting your social relationships and allowing them to deteriorate.
To dream of an underground or underwater city, represents your unconscious and how through deeper understanding of yourself, you find commonality and shared experiences with others.
To dream that you are in a strange city, denotes you will have sorrowful occasion to change your abode or mode of living.

If you are sunbathing or watching other people sunbathe, you could be feeling happy with yourself and confident about your future.
According to Piobb, the Graeco-Roman conception of the ocean
encompassing the earth was a graphic representation of the current of energy
induced by the terrestrial globe (48). Setting aside its grandeur, the two most
essential aspects of the ocean are its ceaseless movement and the formlessness of
its waters. It is a symbol, therefore, of dynamic forces and of transitional states
between the stable (or solids) and the formless (air or gas). The ocean as a whole,
as opposed to the concept of the drop of water, is a symbol of universal life as
opposed to the particular (38). It is regarded traditionally as the source of the
generation of all life (57), and science has confirmed that life did in fact begin in the
sea (3). Zimmer observes that the ocean is ‘immense illogic’—a vast expanse
dreaming its own dreams and asleep in its own reality, yet containing within itself
the seeds of its antitheses. The island is the opponent of the ocean and symbolic
of the metaphysical point of irradiating force (60). In keeping with the general
symbolism of water, both fresh and salt, the ocean stands for the sum of all the
possibilities of one plane of existence. Having regard to its characteristics, one
may deduce whether these potentialities are positive (or germinant) or negative
(destructive) (26). The ocean, then, denotes an ambivalent situation. As the begetter of monsters, it is the abysmal abode par excellence, the chaotic source
which still brings forth base entities ill-fitted to life in its aerial and superior
forms. Consequently, aquatic monsters represent a cosmic or psychological situation at a lower level than land-monsters; this is why sirens and tritons denote a
sub-animal order. The power of salt water to destroy the higher forms of land-life
means that it is also a symbol of sterility, so confirming the ambivalent nature of the ocean—its contradictory dynamism (32). The ocean is also to be found as a
symbol of woman or the mother (in both her benevolent and her terrible aspects)
(56). As Frobenius comments in Das Zeitalter des Sonnengottes: ‘If the blood-red
sunrise is interpreted as the “birth” of an astral body, then two questions arise:
Who is the father? And how did the mother come to conceive? And since she, like
the fish, is a sea-symbol, and since our premiss is that the sun plunges into the sea
and yet is born in it, the answer must be that the sea previously swallowed up the
old sun and the appearance of a “new sun” confirms that she has been fecundated.
The symbolism here coincides with that of Isis whose twin lunar horns embrace
the sun.’ This appearance of the sun and its disappearance back into the deeps of
the ocean confirm that the ‘Lower Waters’ signify the abyss out of which forms
arise to unfold their potentialities within existence. Thus, the ocean is equated
also with the collective unconscious, out of which arises the sun of the spirit (32).
The stormy sea, as a poetic image or a dream, is a sign of an analogous state in the
lower depths of the affective unconscious. A translucent calm, on the other hand,
denotes a state of contemplative serenity.
To see an ocean in your dream, represents the state of your emotions and feelings. It is indicative of spiritual refreshment, tranquility and renewal. Alternatively, the dream means that you are feeling empowered and unhindered. You have a positive outlook in life and are not limited by anything. If you are sailing across the ocean, then it signifies new found freedom and independence. You are showing great courage. If the ocean is rough, then the dream represents some emotional turmoil. You are doing your best to handle life's ups and downs.
The state of life will be as the ocean is perceived to be in dream, viz., calm and
peaceful life when the ocean is calm and troublesome life when the ocean is stormy, etc.
To dream of the ocean when it is calm is propitious.
The sailor will have a pleasant and profitable voyage.

and the young man will revel in his sweetheart's charms.
