A fragmentary night of sleep. So much so that I could feel bits of incomplete dreams floating around me, as if I was too tired or didn't have enough time to experience them fully. A could of orphan dreams. I remember telling someone that I was going to consume them and recycle them.
I also dreamed that I was with a friend in a car going towards a border. It only seemed like the border of neighborhood, but there was a guard posted there and he didn't want to deal with it. He turned the car around and parked, and opened my door and told me to have a quick exit strategy.
The border guard came over who was a girl about our age and she instantly threw big attitude, telling us to get out of the car and calling people over to search the whole vehicle. I took my time because I wasn't going to let her intimidate me. She was really aggressive and bossy and pushed me a little bit and poked me with her pen.
After she finished searching the car and didn't find anything, I turned to another border guard who was older and her superior and filed a complaint. I talked about energy, and how unnecessary it was for her to be aggressive. Then I got a bit upset and told her that if she ever poked me or physical touched me again, that she was going to hear from my lawyer.
I had another dream that I was working for some kind of marketing company and we were having an open house showing some of our work. There were portfolios of highly designed material laying around, and a few books of concept sketches that weren't supposed to be at the table.
Some other industry folks were in the room, and I mentioned that some of the books were just conceptual and shouldn't have been on the floor. One in particular had a bunch of sketches of a woman for an advertisement, and the guests were looking at the finished poster commenting that it was pretty bad. I held up the concept book, and said "Not as bad as these!".
At some point I was outside and there were a bunch of tillandsias hanging around. One of my favorites had some type of insect eggs in it. I noticed because the tillandsias was in full color, and I removed it from its perch to look at it. Joan was there and said we should just leave the eggs alone, but I started washing them out and cleaning off other debris that had collected in the plant. There were two huge yellow flower bracts in the center of the plant.
