Morning of October 2, 2014. Thursday.

There was more to this dream, but the main scene involves an attack by a large fly. I am in the bathroom, having checked what has to be done regarding the repairs or replacement on the plumbing pieces related to the hot water not turning off in the shower. In reality, the spindle had worn down so that the threads were mostly gone in one section so that the water would not turn off (handle just rotated without closing the valve). In addition, I saw that the plastic handle inset had broken (but not affecting the operation of it yet), whereby I will eventually buy the solid metal ones only (the $30.00 plastic taps/faucets only last a month or so before cracking or disintegrating - I do not even know why they make them - ridiculous, really - a typical "fake" product flooding the market and my relatives in the USA tell me they have the same problem).

Being annoyed at having to mess around yet again (having already spent hundreds of dollars on new faucets and such in the last year or so and they still all need replacement parts yet again), I mostly just "space out" in-dream for a time. I think about all the fake rubbish sold these days including the fake faucet flange in the kitchen, which is very thin foil over cheap plastic (to make it look like metal when it is not, a typical deceit in modern products) and the foil flaking off and presenting a potential to likely cut a finger. How a small piece of metal can cost fifty to a hundred dollars is beyond me but at least it lasts far longer than plastic fakes.

At any rate, I am thinking about this, and I notice that there is a (fictional) area near the ceiling where there is a random diagonal bolt (makes no logical sense as to purpose) from a small pipe-like structure that is being pushed out by something unseen (possibly loosely based on bonnet and spindle). It turns out to be an unnaturally large green bottle fly. It seems quite odd that the fly was able to deliberately push out the bolt from wherever it was as if previously coming into the internal structure of the wall or having been somehow trapped before by someone putting the bolt into the small "pipe".

From there the fly painfully bites the middle of my right forearm, which will supposedly be fatal. However, nothing happens and I just go into the bedroom to sit and wait for my wife to come in. There is an unknown male there who may be there to help with the plumbing or my medical "emergency".
