Morning of September 13, 2014. Saturday.

This was a somewhat distorted and less vivid dream that seemed highly impersonal as well as implying more of a "secondhand" movie-like scenario. It mostly involved associations with unusual technology. One piece of technology that comes down from the sky is possibly alien in origin. At one point, two young males (I think in some sort of college at the time) send up a small communications satellite that is mostly made of a beer can and there is talk of what is being done regarding the sending of a message to relatives. This has something to do with how the can is shining and what direction it is facing. The beer can will somehow stay in the sky though (realistically) it is far too close to Earth to be in any actual orbit vector (as the shininess of the very small object can be seen from the ground). The scene has no associations at all with my own life. It is solely like watching someone else's ideas or fantasies.

There is another part which is somewhat eerie, as it involves unexplained, unfamiliar technology, which is somewhat like a cross between a tiny alien probe and some sort of mechanical insect. It seems to move on its own for a time and I think finally settles on the top of a black vacuum cleaner. I see it very clearly for several minutes prior to waking, almost expecting it to display some signs of additional activation but nothing else happens. It looks like an alligator clip (but laterally symmetrical) lying on its side, but is more elongated and has other features (almost like a miniature spacecraft, I think). There seems to be an awareness of a school-like setting somewhere, where a teacher makes references to it in a somewhat wary way as if people need to pretend not to notice it. Even though the object is very small, it seems to have connections to an advanced civilization that may eventually "take over" humanity. It also reminds me somewhat of a metallic fly. It seems it may have a "primitive intent" to perhaps attempt to camouflage itself.
