I am sitting on my bed cross legged as if getting ready to meditate. The room is silent and everything is glowing but in a dimmed setting. My bed is made and my eyes are closed as I am inhaling the scents of lavender. I see myself in third person and first person simultaneously. Then as if reaching some sort of enlightenment - I branch out in just third person and I am moving around myself. I see myself - eyes closed, meditating, and I see myself open my mouth.
Tiny little origami birds start flying out. As they reach the outside of my mouth they start to get bigger (about a palm-size) and start flying around my room! I am motionless as this is happening. If I made the tiniest movement this may all disappear.
I don't know if the Mallory on the bed knows what's going on. Is she allowing me to see this part of myself? Is this what the peace of my mind can create? Will it end - because I don't ever want it to! It's beauty and calm as I look around my uncluttered - free space room and see the little origami birds flying free. They are cleaning my mind in this physical way.
I wake up from this too short dream and wonder if there could be a paper crane hidden under my bed. Alas, no. But the calming feeling in my mind lasts.

The bed could also symbolise the bridge between the conscious and the unconscious (i.e. our daily lives and the great unknown, our spirit and our psychological undercurrent). The quality and the cleanliness of the bed in our dreams may say something about the way we feel about ourselves, and our relationships. In reality we "make our own bed," so the dream may reflect that bed and remind us that we have to either change it or lie in it. If there were things hiding under the bed in your dream, it may symbolise secrets that you or others are keeping. If you dream that you are lying in bed, your unconscious may be warning you about potential health problems.

A symbol of individuality—of private thoughts. The windows symbolize the possibility of understanding and of passing through to the external and
the beyond, and are also an illustration of any idea of communication. Hence, a
closed room lacking windows may be symbolic of virginity, according to Frazer,
and also of other kinds of non-communication. Many rites involving the
enclosureimage are performed to mark the reaching of puberty, all over the world.
The legend about Danae, shut up by her father in a bronze tower, pertains to this
particular symbolism. There is a Siberian legend concerning a ‘dark house of iron’
which is also relevant to it (21). We might also mention the ‘vase with a lid’, one
of the eight emblems of good luck in Chinese Buddhism, and a symbol of wholeness, of the idea with no ‘exit’, or, in other words, of supreme intelligence triumphant over birth and death (signified respectively by the doors and windows of
the room) (5). This explains why the hermetically sealed room may possibly be
a variant form of the ‘vase with a lid’.

Eyes are complex dream symbols and can be interpreted by considering the dreamer's experiences and the details in the dream (as is the case with all dream symbols). Some say that the eyes are the windows for the soul. Eyes symbolize perceptiveness, personal outlook, clairvoyance, curiosity, and knowledge. They also reveal information about personal identity and suggest to the dreamer what they should pay attention to. Closed eyes are said to represent fear and an unwillingness to see clearly. Superstition-based dream interpretations say that if the eyes in your dream are beautiful they represent peace. Crossed eyes may be an unconscious warning about someone’s character, integrity, or misperceptions.
In the symbolism pertaining to the body, the most elementary association is the one between the organ or member and its function. It is, then, selfevident that, in Egyptian hieroglyphs, the mouth should stand for the power of
speech and hence for the creative word. In this sense it stands for the pristine
emanation of creative power. Very closely connected with this hieroglyph is
another showing a mouth with a solar disk inside. This disk, primarily standing
for the sun, is connected, but not identical, with the eye. (In hieroglyphs which
are coloured, the eye is wholly blue, while the sign under discussion consists of a
blue mouth with a little red circle inside) (19). Guénon supports this interpretation of the sign (29), pointing to the example of the Mândûkya Upanishad where,
apropos the state of deep sleep, the mouth is said to represent integral consciousness (26). In the Old Testament, the concepts of mouth and fire are frequently
associated; epithets such as ‘devouring’ or ‘consuming’, frequently applied to the
latter, are descriptive of the functions of the former. Hence the fire-breathing
animals of legend. Jung explains these associations by synaesthesia and suggests
that they are connected with Apollo, the sun-god who is depicted with a lyre as
his characteristic attribute. The common link between the symbolisms of sounding, speaking, shining and burning finds a physiological parallel in the phenomenon known as ‘coloured hearing’ whereby some individuals experience sounds
as colours. Furthermore, it is hardly a coincidence that the two main characteristics that set Man apart from all other beings are the power of speech and the use
of fire. Both are, in fact, the product of mana (psychic energy) (31). In consequence, mouth-symbolism, like fire-symbolism, has two aspects: creative (as in
speech) and destructive (devouring). And, of course, the mouth is the point of
convergence between the external and the inner worlds. This explains the frequent
symbol of the ‘monster’s mouth’, with sets of upper and lower teeth that are
expressive of the ‘interlocking’ of the two worlds: heaven and earth or, more
often, hell and earth (50). There are, in mediaeval iconography, abundant examples of the mouths of dragons or large fishes affording access to the inner world
or to the underworld.
To see a mouth in your dream, signifies your need to express yourself or talk about an issue that's bothering you. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you have said too much and you need to keep your mouth shut.

Birds are very frequently used to symbolize human souls, some of
the earliest examples being found in the art of ancient Egypt. Sometimes, they
are depicted with human heads, as in Hellenic iconography. In the Mirach it is
written that, when Mohammed went to heaven, he found, standing in the middle
of a great square, the Tree of Life whose fruit restores youth to all those who
eat of it. This Tree of Life is surrounded by groves and avenues of leafy trees on
whose boughs perch many birds, brilliantly coloured and singing melodiously:
these are the souls of the faithful. The souls of evildoers, on the other hand, are
incarnated in birds of prey (46). Generally speaking, birds, like angels, are
symbols of thought, of imagination and of the swiftness of spiritual processes
and relationships. They pertain to the Element of air and, as noted in connexion
with the eagle, they denote ‘height’ and—consequently—’loftiness’ of spirit.
This general symbolism has sometimes been narrowed down excessively to the
particular, as often happens in traditional symbolism. Thus, Odo of Tusculum,
in his sermon XCII, describes different kinds of spirituality in men in terms of
the characteristics of different kinds of birds. Some birds, he says, are guileless,
such as the dove; others, cunning like the partridge; some come to the hand, like
the hawk, others flee from it, like the hen; some enjoy the company of men, like
the swallow; others prefer solitude and the desert, like the turtle-dove. . . . Lowflying birds symbolize an earth-bound attitude; high-flying birds, spiritual longing
