Most of the clocks in my room are not accurate. Even though the time they represent may be a bit off, their potential for me to synchronistically communicate with the symbols they present is a fully potent factor in my reality.
Today is the last day of '11. In the midst of a dream, I suddenly wake up. I look at my one clock, 11:11. "Cool", I mutter to myself as I put my head back on the pillow and try to access my dream recall. A few moments pass. I reach over to check my cell phone and I see it again- 11:11. Today is obviously going to be an interesting day.
The universe communicates to itself using the language of symbols. It is moments like these when, if you are aware, the universe has the chance to speak back to you and say 'Hey look, your inline. Embrace where you are and what lies ahead- pay attention."
11:11 is not the only number I have gotten use to seeing. A few years ago I intentionally encoded the number 96 into the synchronistic nature of my reality. Not only is the number tattooed on my left wrist, but as a symbol it means alot to me. As above so below, intention in, purpose out, yin yang male female, infinity, duality, reality. When out in the world I allow this number to work as a means for me to train my intuition. 100s of cars pass by me while downtown. I pay little attention to any. I intuitively look up at one eventually. 96 I see. What does that mean? To me it means I am allowing myself to listen to my heart. This action is but a micro in the macro of greater events in my life.
Put forth your best effort and the universe will meet you half way.
