My school was having an event / contest in which students had to run around in this crazy building and look for supplies to create a samurai doll. At first, no one knew the rules of the contest, and we were all just running around inside of the building, exploring. It was like a huge maze of staircases. I ran around on all the levels, except for the top ones, and made it back down to the bottom. Then I decided I should try to make it to the level on the very top of the building, right next to the ceiling. A girl had the same idea, and we started racing to the top using parallel staircases. It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, and we both made it there really quickly. Then the rules of the contest were explained. We had to run around on the outside sections of the building, which were like huge garden balconies, and look for hiding girls dressed as ghosts. We had to find them, and then ask if they were Japanese. If they were, they could give you a hint to find the hidden supplies. I saw Dallas walking over to a bush, and he started peeing in it, which I thought was kind of weird. Then I saw a girl near him, and asked if she was Japanese. She said no. I asked if she was half Japanese, and she said no again. I moved on, and the same thing happened with another girl. Finally, I found a girl that could help, and I was the first one to find her, so she gave me a special clue. Some short kid saw me talking to her, and came over to eavesdrop. He tried to run away to get the supplies before I could, but I grabbed his ankle and held him there until she finished talking. I got up and ran to the area that she told me about. I ran a lot faster than he could. I found the place that she was talking about, and started looking around for the supplies. There was a big air-filled thing with papers all over it. Other people got there after me, and everyone was trying frantically to grab all of the pieces of paper. It got crowded, but I got out with what I wanted. I found a strange lump of clay, some yarn, paint, and a few other things. I started to get to work on my doll. I made the forearms and hands, and the shoulders and head. the res of the body was going to be covered in armor, so I didn't sculpt it. I decided that I would also make his shoes from clay, and the rest of the armor from the other supplies. I found a strange ball with a hole in it, that I thought might be a good base for making a helmet, so I tried to stretch the shape to fit over his head. It was a strange texture, and wouldn't stay together. It broke apart a little, and I realized that it was too big for his head anyway. An alarm went off, and someone announced that we were entering the final stage of the contest, where you had to convince another contestant to buy your doll from you. I thought that this was a really stupid idea, and decided to use the rest of the time to finish making my doll look awesome. He looked like a Caucasian man, and I was disappointed, because I wanted him to look Japanese. My sculpting skills needed some work.
