In the dream I was, apparently, living in Eastern Oregon where the area code was 574. I was a University student out there, and there was a lot of water in the area such as lakes, rivers, streams, and marshes. That day, earlier, I had gone boating. Later, whilst babysitting some newborn obnoxious kittens, my mother called me on an old pay-as-you-go phone. I asked if I could call her back from my new 'big girl' phone that I had and she said sure. We hung up and I tried endlessly to dial out on this new computer-phone that I had. It requests you first touch the area from which you are dialing from, then enter your number, then enter the number you wish to call, and the whole process was time consuming and every time, it would give some new crazy error. 20 minutes went by without a return call, and I figured any moment now my mother would be calling me back but she did not. And thus the dream ended with me struggling to use a new computer (touch-screen) phone. I then had an idea after waking up: Mobile phone companies should invent a dock at home for their mobile phones. You plug your mobile into a larger touch-screen version of it, that acts as a landline and can be cordless or corded, or used as a speaker, complete with a yellow pages directory on the touch-screen. That'd be a pretty cool innovation, I think.
